President: Corruption in Ukraine will be no more covered

03.04.2015 09:17 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within his yesterday meeting with managers and activists of Ternopil region, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko emphasized that struggle against corruption will be further increased in Ukraine and all corruption schemes will be ruined, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports. As to the report, Poroshenko made it known that the Ukrainian Security Service had seized the corrupt official that day. «Today, the Security Service of Ukraine has seized the mediator, who took a bribe of UAH30 thousand for bailing the conscript out of service. He is already in prison. And it will be the same for everyone,» Poroshenko said. «The ground will burn under the feet of those who are corrupt: in recruiting offices, law enforcement bodies, the sphere of public prosecution, local government or state enterprises,» the President said. He has emphasized that struggle against corruption would be further increased in Ukraine and all corruption schemes would be ruined. According to the President, «governmental umbrella» has always protected corrupt officials and allowed them to continue their criminal activity. «Is there corruption in Ukraine now? Yes, there is. But there is no more „umbrella». I have ruined it and will continue to do so," the President emphasized.
