WTO rules provide for many opportunities to solve any trade disputes

26.09.2013 09:38 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — The problems arising in relations between Ukraine and the countries of the Customs Union should be solved solely in compliance with the WTO rules. This was told by Mykola Azarov to the reporters in Astana, Mykola Azarov Official Website says. «The WTO rules, which both Ukraine and Russia are governed by, provide a good deal of opportunities to settle possible re-export problems as well as many other issues that had been brought up by the Russian side,» admitted the Prime Minister. The Head of the Government stressed that Ukraine acknowledges the right of their partners from the CIS countries and the Customs Union to contemplate a possibility of risks associated with the conclusion of the Agreement on free trade area between Ukraine and the EU: «We are ready to work with them on considering such risks. It’s time to move from general words to deeds, i.e. to specific consideration of possible risks, to analyze their scope and, as a result, the possible consequences.» And Mykola Azarov added that if there are good will and mutual consent, any problems related to the bilateral cooperation can be settled.
