Government of Ukraine ready to render assistance to citizens of RF who suffered abnormal floods

On commission of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to clarify what kind of assistance Ukraine can render to the citizens of the Russian Federation who had become victims of abnormal floods in Far East, Government Portal reports.
The Head of the Government has expressed «a sincere solidarity with the citizens of the Russian Federation who are fighting against the consequences of abnormal floods in Far East». He stressed the situation is very complicated there thousands of people are suffering.
«The President of Ukraine commissioned the Government to consider the issue: how Ukraine can help? To find this out with our Russian partners. And in the first place to suggest the assistance to children from the affected regions, to invite them to rest in our children’s camps that function in autumn and in winter. In Artek, for example,» Mykola Azarov declared. «That’s why, in turn I commission the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the diplomatic channels to hold respective consultations and give propositions to the Government immediately».
