Semynozhenko: International Scientific Congress 2013 will launch many important projects in Ukrainian ICT sphere

09.09.2013 16:43 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — On October 29, 2013, the Information Society in Ukraine International Scientific Congress will be held in Ukraine; it is to be organized by the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine and the Ukrainian House National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation, Government Portal reports. The Head of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization Volodymr Semynozhenko noted that the event is devoted to the Information and Communication Technologies development and development of the information society in Ukraine. «We set ourselves ambitious goals: to build highly dynamic information economy and society of free access to information and knowledge in Ukraine. So, the Congress should become the only platform for dialogue of representatives of the authorities, science and business,» Volodymyr Semynozhenko stressed. He marked the high representative level of the event: it is planed to invite to attend the Congress the Prime Minister of Ukraine, representatives of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ministries and other central executive bodies, local government, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, experts of educational institutions, libraries, organizations and, of course, foreign experts of the field. Concerning agenda of the Congress: the development of the Information Society, the joining of Ukraine the global information space, the providing electronic administrative services, implementation of the priorities and activities of the National Informatization Program aimed at the development of information and communication technologies, the establishing contacts with potential partners to build innovative structures and technology transfer and so on. Volodymyr Semynozhenko informed that in the framework of scientific congress it will be exhibited new solutions in information and communications technology of leading domestic and foreign IT companies. There will also be awarded Partner of the Initiative "Partnership «Open Government», the winners of the First National Competition on e-government and there will also be held an official presentation of the Portal Knowledge Management. This year the Information Society in Ukraine International Scientific Congress is to be held in Ukrainian House Kyiv National Business and Cultural Center (Khreshchatyk street).
