Prysyazhnyuk: Procedure for leasing equipment of leading manufacturers will be facilitated for farmers

It will be easier to Ukrainian agrarians to lease equipment from leading manufacturers. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has developed a new model for this purpose. The Ministry of Finance will help to find ways to funding of the UkrAgroLeasing and to intensify its cooperation with leading global manufacturers. This was announced today during the introducing of new Head of the UkrAgroLeasing National Joint Stock Company by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.
«It is unprofitable to buy the whole set of equipment, which cost UAH 10 million, for a farmer who has 150 ha of land. So we’ve worked out with the Cabinet and will agree a new model that helps to raise funds to purchase equipment for the transfer it in lease. And participants in the organization of such a model of lease will be the state, UkrAgroLeasing, a producer and lenders. And for this purpose the Ministry will negotiate with powerful manufactures of equipment and help UkrAgroLeasing to find the necessary funding,» the Minister said.
Mykola Prysyazhnyuk added that the Agriculture Ministry is working with companies such as CLAAS and John Deere, so that these equipment farmers were able to lease.
In addition, the head of the Ministry added that for quality and cheap maintenance of such equipment state develop an optimal model of Machine and Tractor Station (MTS).
At a meeting with the staff of the UkrAgroLeasing National Joint Stock Company Minister introduced a new CEO Zhanna Orinicheva.
