Bread bakeries are fully provided with the flour to produce social sorts of bread

In accordance with the objectives set by the Government the Agrarian Fund continues to exercise flour interventions for bread production, Mykola Azarov Official Website reports.
For the eight months of the current year the bread bakeries purchased nearly 200,000 tons of flour for making social sorts of bread. Thus, from the beginning of the year, the Agrarian Fund has produced at 54 processing enterprises 25 thousand tons of flour.
It should be noted that the flour selling is taking place at fixed prices in compliance with the applications of the regional state administrations and only to those bread-making enterprises which will produce bread of mass consumption.
For today, on the whole, 214 bakeries are buying flour from the Agrarian Fund. It is mostly supplied to the bakers of Kyiv and Kharkiv region and it is more than 15,000 tons. Cherkasy, Donetsk and Odessa regions have received about 13,000 tons of flour. Dnepropetrovsk, Kyiv, Luhansk and Zaporizzhia regions acquired almost 10,000 tons each.
At this, the price of flour in 2013 for the bakers remains unchanged compared with 2012 and less than the one in the market. It should be also noted that during the first half of this year, the Agrarian Fund supplied the flour to the bakeries at the cost of 10% lower than the market price on average, giving these businesses the opportunity to fully satisfy the demand for the Ukrainian breads of mass consumption at affordable prices.
