18.11.2019 23:07 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of now, the Forestry Innovation and Analysis Center (FIAC) SE subordinate to the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine continues the activity to connect forestry companies to the website LK.UKRFOREST.COM, which contains an e-registry of permits for wood production and online maps containing location and volumes of workpiece, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the registry, as of this year Nov 11, contained the information about 30,600 valid permits for timber harvesting. The online map contains data about wood output activities within Chernihiv, Poltava, Rivne, Kyiv, Volyn, and Ternopil regions.
It is to be admitted, anyone can enter LK.UKRFOREST.COM website from a computer or smartphone to see a list of cutting permits for timber harvesting or to check whether the cutting is legal on the map.
The register contains a number of options, in particular, one can select the required area, forestry enterprise, forestry area, system and type of cutting, their status and period of work.
In meanwhile, the Agency is going to launch a register of logging permits for the industrial collection of berries, mushrooms, honey, medicinal herbs, which sees the final stage of development.
The main task is to make the website more available and informative for viewing logging tickets of all forestry companies that are within the scope of supervision of the State Forest Resources Agency.
It is to be admitted, after consideration and adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a number of legislative initiatives, it will be possible to extend the system of electronic accounting of timber, registry of logging permits, online logging map regarding all permanent forest users, who also carry out wood production activities, regardless of the responsible agency. That is, to cover the whole territory of Ukraine.
As of this week, Zhytomyr and Zakarpattia regions have also joined the pilot project. Thus, the website has information on in total eight regions - Chernihiv, Poltava, Rivne, Kyiv, Volyn, Ternopil, Zakarpattia and Zhytomyr.
