Milkiland Jan-Sept net loss reduced by 15.1%
18.11.2019 19:21 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Milkiland, a dairy group having Ukrainian, RF, Polish assets, has completed Jan-Sept 2019 at EUR11.39 million net loss (what is 15.1% better against Jan-Sept 2019), Interfax-Ukraine says referring to Milkiland Warsaw Stock Exchange report.
As to the report, Milkiland Jan-Sept 2019 consolidated income has slightly declined to EUR6.57 million, down 2.3% against 2018 similar (EBITDA to EUR0.23 million, down 19.4 times).
As to the report, Milkiland Jan-Sept 2019 ready products’ total sales have dropped by about 29% mainly due to cheeses and oil-and-fat products sales’ significant decline. Reportedly, the Milkiland cheeses and oil-and-fat products’ output profitability has been undermined by «scissors of production cost» meaning that the ready products’ prices have been lagging behind the growth of the cost growth of raw milk (both within Ukraine and RF, with Ukrainian raw milk purchase price having boosted by 7.5% and RF by 9%).
«These adverse trends have been additionaly aggravated by UAH and RUB exchange rates’ growth against EUR within Jan-Sept 2019,» the report reads.
