Zubko: As of 2017, local budget incomes boosted to UAH192 milliard

While commenting on the results of 2017 local budgets implementation, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Hennadiy Zubko said within 2017 the growth of local budgets revenues amounted to 31% or UAH45.3 milliard, Government Portal reports.
As to him, this indicator proves the effectiveness of the decentralization reform, in part., its sectoral course.
As to the the Vice Prime Minister, within 2017, the general fund of local budgets received UAH192 milliard, or 107% of the appropriations approved by the relevant authorities. He noted that only 40 out of 998 local budgets, that are engaged in direct relations with the State budget, have not ensured the implementation of the planned indicators.
«21 regions have achieved growth rates above average within Ukraine. The highest rates are within Ternopil, Vinnitsa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Volyn, Transcarpathian, Kherson, Kirovograd regions,» he stressed.
As to the report, the Vice Prime Minister pointed out budget revenues from land tax boosted by 13% (UAH 3 milliard). The highest ones are in Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian and Ternopil regions.
Apart from that, Zubko stressed local budget revenues grew by 39.3% (UAH 31.1 milliard) due to personal income tax. «Within 18 regions out of 25 growth rates for this indicator are above the Ukrainian average. The highest results are within Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa,
Kherson, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Transcarpathian and Kirovograd regions,» he underlined.
