President signs Ukrainian 2018 State budget

As of last week, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed the law on Ukrainian State budget for 2018 (No. 2246-VIII), Interfax-Ukraine says referring to the President press service report.
As to the report, the law comes into force on Jan 1, 2018.
As to the press service, State budget revenues are estimated at UAH 917.9 milliard and expenditures at UAH 991.7 milliard.
As to the report, the deficit of the 2018 State budget is proposed to be set at UAH 80.6 milliard (or 2.4% of GDP), which corresponds to the program of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Proceeds from privatization are stipulated at UAH 21.3 milliard.
The size of the living wage will grow by 9% and the minimum wage by 16.3%.
As to the earlier report, the Verkhovna Rada approved as a whole the law on Ukrainian 2018 State budget (bill No. 7000) on Dec 7, 2017. Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy signed the document and sent it to the Head of State for signature on Dec 22, 2017.
