Groisman vows next year will become a breakthrough in achieving economic boost

As of today, while speaking within a meeting with representatives of business circles in Kyiv, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said the drastic reforms being implemented within the economic and social spheres offer Ukraine new opportunities for ensuring significant economic growth at 5–7%, as well as changes of the governance model and quality of government decisions, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the event was held with the participation of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko as well as MPs.
As to the report, Groisman stressed that Ukraine could become one of the most dynamic economies in Europe in the short term. To this end, it is of utmost importance to take decisions that will be based on the principles of protecting investors who boost the development of the domestic industry, create new jobs, and increase the production of competitive high value added products.
«The next year should become the year of economic upturn and establishment of clear rules for business,» noted the Prime Minister.
He reminded that this year, important far-reaching incentives in the medical, educational, pension, VAT administration system have been approved. And that is why the «autumn of fundamental reforms» should turn into a «spring of legislative initiatives on ease of doing business».
«The state must be stable. Our ambitious goal is to enter the TOP-30 in the Doing Business ranking of the World Bank. Can we do this? The answer is yes, we can. We must adopt new legislation, and through its implementation we will succeed,» Groisman urged.
