Ukrainian suburban rail traffic to be improved

As of yesterday, while speaking within the Cabinet meeting, Head of Ukrzaliznytsya Yevghen Kravtsov said Ukrzaliznytsya will implement a pilot project to improve suburban traffic within the direction of Bucha, Irpin, Nemishaiyeve and Brovary by the year-end, NRCU reports.
«Ukraine is lagging behind from the world as for providing the suburban rail traffic, and by the end of this year, a pilot project on suburban traffic at the Kyiv rail junction will begin. It should be a combination of modernized trains running with interval of 2025 minutes in the most priority directions: Irpin, Bucha, Nemishayeve, Brovary,» Kravtsov said.
It is to be admitted, this project, if successful, will be implemented within several years within other Ukrainian cities as well.
