Poroshenko emphasizes these are politicians who shall be responsible for events near Parliament

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko emphasizes that everyone involved in provocations of August 31 near the Parliament must be brought to justice, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the Head of State informed that the law enforcers detained the first suspects. «We have already found the executors. Soon, we will find the organizers,» Poroshenko noted.
As to the report, the President emphasized the liability of political forces who organized the rally.
«They must bear responsibility for that. When the Ukrainian hero dies on the frontline defending the Homeland from the aggressor, it is terrible. But it is hundred times more terrible when the Ukrainian warrior dies in the center of Kyiv as a result of provocations organized by shortsighted politicians who want additional 2–2 mandates in the district council,» the President said.
«Today, the country is wounded by war. There is a great number of weapons and men who came from the frontline. Thus, politicians must think twice when calling for armed rallies near the Parliament,» the Head of State stressed.
As to the report, the President noted that the tragedy took place during the Constitutional Amendments Vote at the Parliament of Ukraine and were, inter alia, caused by the upcoming elections.
«Unfortunately, politicians play such game for additional percentage in the elections in any country. And it has nothing in common with national interests,» the President said.
