Thus, within this week Ukrainian domestic market SMP prices have grown to UAH3943 per kg (up 1.23% against previous week/up 1.39% as of last month similar); export market SMP prices, however, were US$1,5501,600 per MT (unchanged against previous week/down 0.16% as of last month similar). Experts admit though within this week Ukrainian SMP output remained rather high (due to seasonality factor) but, at same time, it has already started gradually declining. Besides, experts say within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market SMP prices’ growth was as earlier additionally backed up by export market SMP high rates. As of this week, Ukrainian home market WMP prices have lifted to UAH4850 per kg (up 1.55% as of last week); external market WMP prices, however, remained US$2,1002,250 per MT (same as of last week). In meanwhile, this week Ukrainian domestic market cheese demand remained weak; export market demand also remained slack due to high competition on part of EU countries. Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ casein prices have slightly lifted: thus, domestic market casein prices have improved to UAH100107 per kg (up 0.98% against previous week, but down 0.48% as of last month similar); export market prices have risen to US$4,2006,400 per MT (up 2.33% as of last week/up 1.73% as of last month similar). However, experts admit within this week Ukrainian export market casein sale rates remained slack due to global market low prices. As of this week, Ukrainian domestic market demineralized whey prices ranged within UAH10,7011,50 per kg (unchanged against previous week/down 4.31% as of last month similar); export market prices were US$415450 per MT (same as of last week/down 4.42% as of previous month similar). Besides, within this week Ukrainian domestic market classic whey prices fluctuated within UAH11,0011,50 per kg (same as of last week/down 3.45% as of last month similar); export market prices ranged within US$400405 per MT (unchanged against previous week/down 0.46% as of last month similar). Within reporting week purchasers activity on Ukrainian domestic/export markets remained slack. As of this week, Ukrainian producers’ unsold demineralized whey reserves remained big (classic whey reserves, however, were very low). In meanwhile, this week Ukrainian inner market GOST canned milk prices ranged within UAH11,814,0 per can (380 gr), same as of last week.
