In meanwhile, within reporting week purchasers’ activity on Ukrainian domestic/export markets remained low resulting in some dairy products’ prices having
declined. Low sales are to be explained with following factors: domestic summer vacations’ time beginning, seasonal growth (which has become really huge)
of unsold dairy products on producers’ warehouses and, besides, global market unsold dairy products’ amount growth.
Thus, within this week internal market block butter (72.5% fat, DSTU) prices have fallen to UAH2931 per kg (down 1.64% against previous week/down 10.45%
as of last month similar); foreign market prices have dropped to US$3,1003,200 per MT (down 1.56% as of last week/down 6.33% as of previous month
similar). It is to be admitted, within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market demand was slackening.
It is to be mentioned, within this week Ukrainian domestic butter market was additionally pressed down by domestic shipments of cheap butter (UAH25 per kg)
made by Ukrainian State-owned company State Reserve.
Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market cheese prices have sagged to UAH4652 per kg (down 2.00% against previous week/down 3.21% against last
month similar); export market prices were US$5,2005,900 per MT (same as within previous week, but down 0.23% as of last month similar).
This week Ukrainian domestic market cheese demand has slackened as of last week; export market demand, however, remained unchanged.
Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market casein prices have strengthened to UAH5966 per kg (up 0.81% against previous week); export market prices
have improved to US$6,3006,600 per MT (up 0.81% as of last week/up 1.77% against previous month similar).
Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market casein prices have declined to UAH5564 per kg (down 4.80% against previous week/down 5.18% as of last
month similar); export market prices equaled to US$6,2006,600 per MT (down 4.80% as of last week, but up 0.98% against previous month similar).
As of this week, Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ casein offer has boosted against previous week.
Within this week Ukrainian home/export markets’ whey prices have declined: thus, domestic market demineralized whey prices have sagged to UAH7,508,30 per
kg (down 4.6% as of previous week); export market prices have lowered to US$760870 per MT (down 3.0% against previous week).
Within this week domestic market classic whey prices have sagged to UAH6,807,10 per kg, down 0.71% against previous week, while export prices have dropped
to US$700710 per MT, down 0.70% as of last week.
It is to be admitted, within this week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ whey purchasers’ activity has slackened against previous week.
It is to be admitted, within this week Ukrainian domestic market demineralized whey prices have declined by 2.37% against last month similar (export prices
- by 2.70%); domestic market classic whey prices have fallen by 2.97% against last month similar (export prices - by 3.82%).
Besides, within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market SMP prices equaled to UAH1922 per kg (same as within previous week, but down 6.29% against
previous month similar); export market prices were US$2,1002,800 per MT (same as within previous week, but down 1.76% as of last month similar).
Within this week Ukrainian companies have been exporting SMP to RF at US$2,6002,800 per MT.
It is to be admitted, within this week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ SMP demand remained stable.
In meanwhile, within reporting week Ukrainian domestic/export markets’ WMP prices remained same as within previous week: thus, domestic market prices were
UAH3336 per kg, export - US$3,3003,600 per MT. It is to be mentioned, there was no WMP trade on Ukrainian domestic/export markets within this week. As
earlier, within this week amount of unsold WMP reserves on Ukrainian producers’ warehouses was high.
