As to State Statistics Committee report, Ukrainian Jun 2011 milk/cream powder output equaled to 8,171 MT (up 8.7% against May 2011, but down 30.8% as of Jun 2010).
As to Committee, within Jun 2011 milk/cream powder output leaders were Sumy region, Khmelnytskiy region, Zhytomyr region and Vinnytsia region; as of Jun 2011, highest milk/cream powder outputs were reached by Romenskiy Dairy Plant, Subsidiary (Sumy region), OJSC Zhashkivskiy Butter Plant (Cherkasy region), Starokostiantynivskiy Dairy Plant, Subsidiary (Khmelnytskiy region) and OJSC Yagotynskiy Butter Plant (Kyiv region).
Committee says Ukrainian Jun 2011 fermented milk products’ output has declined to 45,647 MT (down 0.6% against May 2011/down 0.5% as of Jun 2010).
As to Committee, as of Jun 2011, fermented milk products’ output leaders were Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region and Lviv region; as of Jun 2011, biggest fermented milk products’ producers were CJSC Galychyna (Lviv region), CJSC Donetskiy City Dairy Plant ¹2 (Donetsk region), CJSC Dairy Plant Rodich (Kherson region) and OJSC Kyivskiy City Dairy Plant ¹3 (Kyiv region).
Besides, Committee says Ukrainian Jun 2011 butter import has declined to 115,03 MT, down 13.2% against May 2011; within Jan-Jun 2011, Ukraine has imported in total 1,425.85 MT butter. As of Jun 2011, rating of butter shippers to Ukraine was as follows: France (69.2% total shipments), Germany (16.7%), Finland (9%).
As to Committee, within Jun 2011 Ukrainian butter export has boosted to 492,98 MT, up 23.8% against May 2011; within Jan-Jun 2011 country butter export totaled 1,066.56 MT. In Jun 2011, Ukrainian butter biggest lots were shipped out to RF (86.3% total butter export), Moldova (10.6%) and Azerbaijan (2.6%).
Ukrainian Jun 2011 casein/caseinates’ output have grown to 1,219 MT (up 15.9% against May 2011/up 16.3% as of Jun 2010).
As to Committee, within Jun 2011 casein/caseinates’ output leaders were Ternopil region, Vinnytsia region, Khmelnytskiy region and Poltava region; as of Jun 2011, highest casein/caseinates’ outputs were reached by CJSC Moloko (Kreminets, Ternopil region), OJSC Bilotserkivskiy Dairy Plant (Poltava region), Tulchinska Subsidiary of Inter Food Ltd(Vinnytsia region), CJSC Ternopilskiy Dairy Plant (Ternopil region) and Moghyliv-Podilskiy Dairy Plant Ltd (Vinnytsia region).
In meanwhile, within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market SMP prices have declined to UAH3032 per kg, down 1.4% against previous week. As of this week, domestic market SMP sale rates have fallen to minimum.
This week SMP export prices ranged within US$3,0003,100 per MT.
Within reporting week domestic market casein prices ranged within UAH7273 per kg; as of this week, export prices remained US$8,3508,575 per MT (unchanged against previous week).
Within this week domestic butter market prices have declined to UAH4345 per kg; butter export prices ranged within US$3,8004,000 per MT; butter was exported just in small lots.
Within reporting week domestic market cheese prices grown to UAH4447 per kg (up 2.2% against previous week); as of this week, cheese export prices have risen to US$5,2005,600 per MT; Ukrainian companies exported cheese in just small lots.
As of this week, Ukrainian WMP export prices remained unchanged against previous week: US$3,4003,600 per MT; domestic market WMP prices ranged within UAH35,536 per kg.
