As to State Statistics Committee report, Ukrainian Mar 2011 raw milk output has boosted to 832,300 MT (incl. agricultural companies 187,200 MT/population individual economies 645,100 MT), up 41.3% against Feb 2011.
As to Committee, Mar 2010 raw milk output equaled to 874,500 MT (up 4.8% as of Mar 2011).
As to report, as of this year Apr 1, Ukrainian agricultural companies cows’ number declined to 589,800 heads, down 3.1% against last year Apr 1 (608,100 heads), while population individual economies cows’ number lowered to 2,060.300 heads, down 4.2% as of last year Apr 1 (2,151.500 heads).
As to Committee, Ukrainian Mar 2011whey export has grown to 1,011 MT, up 7% against Feb 2011 (947 MT).
Within Jan-Mar 2011 Ukrainian butter gross output totaled 2,563 MT.
In meanwhile, within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market SMP offer prices ranged within UAH2326 per kg, while SMP export prices (for non-CIS countries) fluctuated within US$2,8503,100 per MT, up 4.4% as of last week US$2,7002,900 per MT.
Within this week domestic market WMP prices remained UAH3537 per kg, unchanged against last week; WMP export prices ranged within US$3,6503,750 per MT.
Within reporting week domestic market cheese prices ranged within UAH4149 per kg. As of this week, Ukrainian companies exported cheese in just small lots with export prices fluctuating within US$4,9005,100 per MT.
Within this week domestic casein market situation has changed against previous week: casein prices have grown to UAH7475 per kg, up 5.7% as of last week UAH7374 per kg. However, domestic casein trade rates were very slack.
As of this week, casein export offer prices fluctuated within US$8,5009,000 per MT.
Within this week Ukrainian companies have lowered export-oriented butter output; however, butter export prices remained US$4,1004,300 per MT, unchanged against previous week.
As of this week, domestic market butter prices have declined to UAH32,533,5 per kg, down 6% as of last week.
