Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market milk powder prices have grown against previous week; at same time, cheese/whey prices remained stable.
In meanwhile, Ukrainian market operators affirm country internal market butter prices will (even despite global market tendencies) decline until end this month due to very low demand.
Within this week Ukrainian domestic market butter sale prices ranged within UAH3537 per kg (average export price was US$4,200 per MT).
Besides, experts say country internal market cheese prices will also go down in near future due to producers’ unsold cheese rather big reserves/raw milk output seasonal growth. It is to be admitted, domestic market cheese prices have been remaining stable within quite long time. As of this week, domestic market cheese sale rates were high (as compared to other dairy products).
As of this week, cheeses 50% fat domestic market offer prices remained UAH4248 per kg (unchanged against last week). It is to be admitted, there were rather large spreads between prices of same kind of cheese depending on producers, regions, unsold cheese amounts remained on warehouses and cheese quality.
This week cheeses 50% fat export prices ranged within US$5,5005,800 per MT.
Within reporting week domestic market whey prices also remained stable, UAH8,08,5 per kg; this week whey export prices ranged within US$900950 per MT.
Within this week domestic market demineralized whey prices have grown to UAH9,09,5 per kg (up against last week UAH8,89,5 per kg); demineralized whey export prices fluctuated within US$1,0001,100 per MT.
In meanwhile, Ukrainian casein market operators affirm country casein reserves are now almost exhausted; within this week domestic casein trade was carried out in just small lots.
As of this week, domestic market casein prices have grown from UAH7073 per kg up to UAH7375 per kg.
There was no casein export within this week. As of this week, casein export offer prices fluctuated within US$9,2009,300 per MT.
