As of this year Nov 12, Ukrainian sunseeds minimal purchase price was registered in AR of the Crimea (UAH3,550 per MT), while maximal purchase price was registered in Lugansk region (UAH4,350 per MT).

As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy data, Ukrainian exchange market new crop sunseeds trade volume totaled (as of this year Nov 12) 49,288 MT, incl. spot trade — 45,020 MT (domestic contracts — 2,633 MT; export contracts — 42,387 MT) and forward trade — 4,268 MT (only export contracts).
As to State Statistics Committee, experts estimate Nov 01/10 sunseeds reserves (stored on grains processing/storage companies) as much as 3,545.358 MT.

Within reporting week Chicago Exchange soy.oil prices significant decline has caused Ukrainian sunoil market panic; all market operations have been suspended. Sellers took wait-and-see position and remained passive; purchasers waited for prices further decline and so abstained from purchases. However, within this week Ukrainian crude sunoil still was demanded by RF and Kazakhstan.
As of this week, Ukrainian crude sunoil market followed global market tendencies and therefore has much slackened. Thus, Ukrainian crude sunoil export prices have declined to US$1,330–1,350 per MT (Dec 2010 shipments, FOB Black Sea ports) and US$1,300–1,310 per MT (Feb-Mar 2010 shipments, FOB Black Sea ports).

Within reporting week domestic rape seeds market prices remained relatively stable as domestic free rape reserves have been already almost exhausted.
As of this week, 1 class food rape prices fluctuated within UAH4,300–4,400 per MT (CPT port), 2 class technical rape prices were UAH4,100–4,200 per MT (CPT port).
This week rape oil price equaled to UAH12,900 per MT, EXW.
As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy data, this year Nov 12 Ukrainian rape average purchase price was UAH3,759 per MT, up against last week UAH3,748 per MT.
As of this year Nov 12, Ukrainian rape minimal purchase price was registered in Kyiv region (UAH3,425 per MT), while maximal purchase price was registered in Poltava region (UAH4,220 per MT).
It is to be admitted, this year Nov 12 Ukrainian rape average purchase price is 35% up against last year Nov 12 (UAH2,775 per MT).
