Cabinet raises seed stock 4.7-fold to 31,000 tons

The Cabinet of Ministers has boosted seed stock volume 4.7-fold from 6,565 tons to 30,728 tons amending its resolutions of May 12, 2007. This follows from the Cabinet’s resolution ¹ 528 of July 11 signed by Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. Particularly, the planned volumes of seed stock provides for 18,000 tons of wheat; 6,378 tons of barley; 1,000 tons of rye, triticale, oats and corn each; 1,350 tons of peas; 600 tons political forces soybeans, 80 tons of sunflower seeds and 20 tons of rape. Reportedly, on May 12, 2007 Cabinet of Ministers has approved volume of the state’s reserve of sowing materials in the amount of 6,565 tons for 2007.
