By agreement with oil market participants, Cabinet has imposed a ban on light oil products’ export for one week’s period, starting from May 25, reported Vice-Premier Andriy Kliuyev. As to him, this agreement, being based on voluntary basis, will contribute to domestic market light oil products’ growth, thus leading to petrol prices’ stabilization. A. Kliuyev added, bringing into operation oil processing plants that have been until now stopped for repairs, will also much contribute to domestic market oil products’ growth. Both sides have also agreed upon restricting of profitability of companies busy in light oil products’ supply, down to 7%, while profitability of jobbers’ net companies was agreed to be restricted within a month period down to 13%. A. Kliuyev said special measures are now being undertaken in order to stabilize petrol prices in Kyiv.
