Germans, Italians make up most of Belarus visa-free visitors as new rules go online

As to the Belarus State Border Committee data, now Germans and Italians have so far made up the majority of visa-free arrivals to Belarus after the country had introduced new visa rules as of this year Feb 12, Belarus Radio says referring to BelTA report.
As to the report, 43 people from Germany and 32 from Italy have already entered Belarus without a visa. Besides, Belarus has also welcomed 16 citizens from the UK and the Netherlands each and 14 Polish nationals. Thus, as of 18.00 on this year Feb 13, a total of 218 people have crossed the border checkpoint in Minsk National Airport visa-free.
It is to be admitted, the five-day visa-free entry to Belarus applies to citizens of 39 countries of Europe, including the entire European Union, as well as Brazil, Indonesia, the USA, Canada, Japan, and other countries. First of all, these are the countries without migration problems, Belarus strategic partners, the countries that unilaterally apply visa-free entry regulations for Belarus citizens.
