Poroshenko addressed children at “Children Change the World” opening ceremony

As of today, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has taken
in the opening ceremony of «Children Change the World» Nationwide Children’s Forum conducted on International Children’s Day with his support,
President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the leaders of pupils’ government and winners of Ukrainian school competitions assembled in Mystetskyi Arsenal today to take part in the Forum. Children have been discussing in topical groups the following issues: how school can teach us freedom; how a teacher can help pupils be a truly free person, work, study and live in a real way; whether school can teach us friendship; what most important wisdom can pupils learn in the Ukrainian school; how to cultivate creative thinking in pupils; how school can help us love our life - be proactive and caring; how school can help us be Ukrainians. The President joined the discussion.
As to the report, while greeting the attendees on International Children’s Day, Poroshenko wished everyone to start changes from themselves and noted that his dream «is to live in a country, a symbol of which is such children».
«I wish you to be free in your mind, because freedom is a symbol of Ukraine. Be very responsible in your decisions, your views, and be sincere in your love to Ukraine,» the President said.
«We are building a new country. You are the future of Ukraine and I am proud that Ukraine has such a beautiful, pure, free and patriotic future,» the President addressed the participants of the Forum.
