European Commission allows Ukrainian vegetables/fruits export

As of this week, the European Commission has included Ukraine into the list of countries which can export certain types of vegetables and fruits to the European Union. Ukrinform says referring to Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection report.
«Due to the State Consumer Service work with the European Commission on the unimpeded export of the Ukrainian fruits and vegetables ( defined by EU Council Directive 2019/523) Ukraine has been included into the list of countries that can export a number of fresh fruits and vegetables to the EU,» the report reads.
The vegetables/fruits permitted to be exported to the EU are Malus Mill (apple), Pyrus L. (pear), Prunus L. (plum), Capsicum annuum L. (pepper), Solanum aethiopicum L. (arachnid), Solanum lycopersicum L. (tomato) and Solanum melongena L. (eggplant).
