Myronivskiy Khliboprodukt 2017 net profit up 3.3 times

The MHP (Myronivskiy Khliboprodukt) Agrarian Holding 2017 net profit has jumped to US$220 million, up 3.3 times against 2016, Interfax-Ukraine says referring to the MHP report (published on the London Exchange website).
As to the report, the MHP 2017 total income has grown to US$1.288 milliard, up 13.4% against 2016.
Reportedly, the MHP 2017 export income has improved to US$738 million, up 15.3% against 2016 (it is to be admitted, export income shares 57% of the total income).
«Our financial results are in line with our management expectations that is, a discounted EBITDA is US$459 million and a discounted EBITDA margin is 36%. Besides, the export of chicken, butter and grains has improved our hard currency earnings by 15% against US$732 million received last year,» MHP Chief Executive Yuri Kosiuk admits.
It is to be mentioned, the MHP (Myronivskiy Khliboprodukt) is now Ukrainian biggest chicken producer. Besides, the MHP is also engaged into the domestic grains, sunoil and processed meat products output.
It is to be admitted, the MHP exports frozen chickens’ semi-carcasses (part of which is thereupon processed by the MHP companies located within the Netherlands and Slovakia). The MHP founder and majority shareholder is a Ukrainian businessman Yuriy Kosiuk.
