Zubko: Ukraine, France will actively develop cooperation within housing and utilities sector

Ukraine and France are determined to boost cooperation within the housing and utilities sector, within energy sphere, as well as within the field of training civil servants, Government Portal says referring to Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Ghennadiy Zubko Facebook report.
«Ukraine and France will intensify collaboration in the sphere of housing and communal services, in energy sector as well as in the field of training civil servants. These agreements were reached within the framework of negotiations between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of France Emmanuel Macron,» the report reads.
«With regard to the housing and utilities sphere, French companies will make a contribution to the modernization of the district heating sector within the framework of the project „District Heating Energy Efficiency in Ukraine“ which is being implemented with the financial support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Thus, in particular, French companies will be engaged in activities in the cities of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Mykolaiv. Moreover, arrangements were reached regarding the issue of professional training of civil servants with the support of the National School of Administration (ENA) where best practices of France will be taken into account,» the Vice Prime Minister emphasizes.
