Groisman: Five key objectives set forth by Government will ensure economic growth

As of yesterday, while speaking within his meeting with students of National University of «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy», Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman said the key reforms offered by the Government are to be launched this year, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the reforms will accelerate economic upturn that in the medium term can be reinvested in citizens and human capital of the country.
«Within 3 years we have managed to stem the political crisis. As a result, we stopped the decline and ensured a growing trend. Nowadays we have a chance to develop and reinvest our national achievements in the most valuable thing we have - human capital,» Groisman said.
As to the report, he reminded that among the core objectives for the near future are the pension reform, the reform of land relations, extensive privatization and transformations in education and health care sectors.
As to the report, while speaking about the pension reform, Groisman accentuated that its approval would enable to assign payments on fairness principle, to reduce the Pension Fund deficit and to raise pensions since this year Oct 1. Public privatization, as to the Prime Minister, means «investment in the economy, new jobs, use of the potential and effective management of public resources».
As to Groisman, the land reform, which has a number of restrictions, is a direct path towards the creation of a farmers’ movement.
«We will continue fighting for that, to make the Ukrainian citizens richer,» Groisman said.
«Already today we can change life by changing the system,» he summed up.
