Poroshenko honored memory of Ukrainian warriors fallen in Afghanistan

As of today, on the Day of Remembrance of Combatants in the Territory of Other States, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has taken part within the ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial complex to Ukrainians fallen in Afghanistan, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the attendees honored memory of the deceased with a moment of silence.
Reportedly, the ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, Government members, military and representatives of NGOs.
As to the report, within his address, Poroshenko noted that the Ukrainian servicemen decently fulfilled their duty, demonstrated loyalty to military oath, courage and heroism.
As to him, about 160 thousand Ukrainians were involved in the war in Afghanistan.
