Groisman pledges decision on wages boost be implemented all over Ukraine
11.01.2017 14:58 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
On commission of Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman, a working group within the Government has been formed to monitor implementation of the decision about raising the minimum wage twofold, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the working group is headed by Ukrainian Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko.
Reportedly, similar ad hoc working groups will be set up in regions and cities all across the country.
As to the report, the Prime Minister has set a task to inform him weekly about particular figures of how the Government decision on raising the minimum pay is being executed. In his turn, the Prime Minister will inform the country about the wages’ payment situation.
«We will openly give data which will show the changes within the Ukrainian citizens’ remuneration system. For us, it is also a very important priority», Groisman said.
«We will completely implement this decision throughout the country.»
As to him, the Government cooperates in this issue in particular with trade unions and Federation of Employers.
«I want to assure you that I will make each employer properly evaluate the work of his employees. Nothing happens if a business owner earns a little less money. But his employees will earn much more. We must be guided by this logics in our actions,» he said.
