Groisman orders preparations for immediate implementation of Ukraine-Canada free trade deal

As of today, while speaking within a Government meeting, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has ordered ministers to start the work on preparation for the immediate implementation of a free trade agreement with Canada after its ratification by the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrinform says referring to the Governmental portal report.
«I’m calling on all ministers today to immediately start the work on preparations for putting into action the free trade agreement with Canada,» Groisman said.
As to the report, the PM, in part., has ordered First Vice Prime Minister, Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kubiv to coordinate the work of ministries and departments on this issue.
He also reminded that on this year Jul 11 the Canada-Ukraine free trade deal had been signed within the visit of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Ukraine. The new deal will open access for Ukraine to the US$500 milliard market.
