Capital investments into Ukrainian agriculture up 27.1%

Within 2015, capital investments into the Ukrainian agriculture boosted, reaching 27.1%, Government Portal says referring to Oleksiy Pavlenko, the Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, report.
«Within 2015, the volumes of capital investments in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries have amounted to UAH27.9 milliard, up 27.1% against 2014, and this trend occurred at the background of general decrease of capital investments into the country’s economy by 1.7% and specifically, into the industry by 20%,» the Minister noted.
As to Pavlenko, the capital investments into agriculture have boosted by 26.1% (into the forestry - 1.7 times, into the fisheries - 2.5 times).
«Thus, the share of investments into agriculture has grown from 8.4% to 11.1% in the total volume of capital investments into the Ukrainian economy. This situation offered us an opportunity to slow down the general decline of investing activities,» Pavlenko stressed.
