Ukrainian Central Elections Commission reports on local elections fist results

As to the Ukrainian CEC (Central Elections Commission) website report, the Ukrainian western regions have become the leaders of the country voter turnout, NRCU says.
Thus, as to the report, Ternopil region has demonstrated the largest number of voters that came to the elections (56.5%). It is followed by Lviv region (56.31%) and Volyn region (55.29%).
Reportedly, the lowest number of voters came to the elections in Donetsk region (264,716, or 31.65%) and Luhansk region (159,047 or 35.27%). A total of 44.43% of voters came to the elections in Kharkiv region.
As to the report, the turnout in Kyiv amounted to 41.87% (Kyiv region 49.09%).
