20.07.2015 17:19 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The Assembly of Contributors will provide Ukraine with the missing EUR100 million for completing of the New Safe Confinement (NSC) comstruction over the Chornobyl plant, UNIAN says referring to the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Valeriy Voschevskiy report at a briefing on Mon.
«Almost all donors confirmed their additional contribution in order to cover EUR 100 million out of EUR 1.5 billion, which we lacked to complete the work on the project,» Voschevskiy said.
As to Voschevskiy, the agreements were reached at an International Donor Conference of the Chornobyl Shelter Fund, as well as at the Assembly of Contributors of the Nuclear Safety Council, which had taken place in London on Jul 16 and had been attended by the Ukrainian delegation.
As to him, donors would allocate the money in short time, so the completion of the facility will be implemented as scheduled.
«The donor conference has shown that the donors are interested in the implementation of this project in Nov 2017,» he said.
