Yatseniuk: BRSM owners have to pay losses due to fire at its oil depot

The owners of BRSM-Nafta have to compensate the losses made to the State caused by the fire at its oil depot near Kyiv, Government Portal reports referring to the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk statement made at the meeting of the State commission for ecological safety, man-made disasters and emergencies on Jun 15.
As to the report, Yatseniuk has instructed the Prosecutor General’s Office along with the Justice Ministry to prepare a relevant civil claim to compensate the total amount of losses made to the State in connection with the illegal activities of BRSM-Nafta owners, which resulted in a fire and making damage to the State in the amount determined by appropriate forensics.
Reportedly, Yatseniuk has also ordered to prepare a plan for elimination of the environmental outcomes of the fire.
In his turn, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin reported that the amount of losses caused by the BRSM-Nafta fire makes up about UAH50 million, including reimbursement to the families of victims.
