Ukrainian President assured investors of government's resolute intention to create favorable investment climate

As of today, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with foreign investors and representatives of investment companies and funds at which he presented the «Strategy of Reforms 2020» and declared resolute intention of the government to create a favorable investment climate, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, while addressing the participants of the meeting, the President noted that the country still had to overcome a lot of difficulties and barriers, first of all to increase the level of justice. The Head of State mentioned a «strong will to solve all these problems and create a favorable environment for investments». At the same time, Petro Poroshenko emphasized that there were no contradictions between the President and the Government. «We are engaged in the same work. Thats why both I and the Prime Minister are here,» the Head of State emphasized.
«Ukraine is going through significant transformations and the efforts of each of us will influence the success in the achievement of our goals: European standards of life, decent place in the world. In 6 years, we should meet the Maastricht and Copenhagen criteria,» the President noted.
«We are grateful for your dedication and strong solidarity,» the President addressed the investors.
The Head of State underlined that «reforms are not just about the process». «We have to achieve concrete results. Thats why we are setting 21 KPI to be achieved by the year 2020. Significant portion of them is directly related to business and investment: GDP, FDI, credit rating, ease of doing business, trust toward courts,» the President said.
Also, Petro Poroshenko emphasizes the importance of new social contract between state, business and public where each subject understands its mission in common efforts on reformation of the country and the public.
