PACE mission to visit Ukraine to observe praparations to election

Seven members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe led by Christopher Chope will visit Ukraine on October 7th and 8th to watch preparations for the early parliamentary election scheduled for October 26th, NRCU says referring to the Council of Europe press service Thur report.
As to report, in Kyiv, the delegation plans to meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov. Besides, the delegation also plans to meet with the leaders of major political parties running for parliament, the head and members of the Central Election Commission, representatives of the international community and NGOs, and journalists.
Reportedly, the Parliamentary Assembly plans to send 42 observers to the parliamentary election.
