Boyko: European Union and Customs Union are partners for Ukraine

Ukraine continues its cooperation with the countries of the European Union and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia not opposing this relationship. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko said this in an interview with 5 Channel, Government Portal reports.
«The position of our President that we should not oppose the European Union to the Customs Union; they are both partners for us. And we will continue to cooperate with the Customs Union. We are working out a number of sectoralagreements,» vice Prime Minister said.
He noted that Ukraine is actively preparing for the meeting of Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, which will take place on October 15 in Russia, where a number of important issues of cooperation between the two countries in the economic sphere will be discussed.
«We pay great attention to the preparation for the meeting of the Committee. Life goes on and we are working out formats that allow us to work with the Customs Union under the new conditions,» Yuriy Boyko said.
