President: Project “Open World” is a step to qualitative and modern education

"Implementation of National project «Open World» in the context of introduction of modern technologies in the educational process is a step to the provision of qualitative and modern education for pupils," the President noted, President Viktor Yanukovych Press Office reports.
«It is your future and you are the first who make a step to the „Open World“ in the National project consisting of 54 schools,» the Head of State addressed the pupils of Kyiv general education school ¹78 after watching the presentation of interactive multimedia «Lesson of Future».
He also stressed that in the course of the year, another two thousand school facilities would receive the same equipment and have an opportunity to use modern technologies. By 2015, the project will have been spread in all general education schools of Ukraine.
«We are trying to provide equal opportunities for every pupil irrespective of the welfare of parents and the region of the school,» the President emphasized.
According to the President, such an approach will provide qualitative education and competitive knowledge to pupils, thus, facilitating their realization as high-level professionals in the future.
The Head of State once again congratulated the pupils on the holiday. «I wish you to have an opportunity and desire for self-realization in life. Be happy,» he said.
In the course of «Lesson of Future», the principles of functioning of interactive equipment and the possibilities of its usage in the course of laboratory research were presented.
