GDP in Russia expected to accelerate
16.04.2013 10:25 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development believes that the growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in this country will accelerate in the second quarter of this year to reach 2.1 per cent and to 3 per cent in the second half of this year, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development Andrei Klepach told a press conference in Moscow within last week, Voice of Russia reports referring to ITAR-TASS.
A slow-down of Russia’s economic growth is evident but we expect that it will change by the end of the first quarter, he said.
The decrease in Russia’s economic growth became visible in the second quarter of 2012, which is linked to the negative dynamism of export, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Economic Development said.
The deceleration of the export of oil, gas, metals, and wood was evident in the first 2 months of this year.
