USDA improves forecast for Ukrainian maize crop/export within 2017/2018 MY by 500,000 tonnes

As of this year Jun, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has improved its forecast for the Ukrainian maize crop within the 2017/2018 marketing year (MY, Jul-Jun) to 28.5 million tonnes (up 500,000 tonnes against its May forecast), Interfax says referring to the USDA report.
As to the report, the forecast for Ukrainian maize export has been also raised by 500,000 tonnes, to 20.5 million tonnes.
Reportedly, the USDA has maintained its forecast for the Ukrainian wheat export within the 2017/2018 MY as much as 14.5 million tonnes with the wheat crop being 25 million tonnes, which corresponds to the figures published within this year May.
As to the report, the USDA has improved its forecast for this year Ukrainian total grains output to 62.29 million tonnes, up 500,000 tonnes against last year (total grains export to 38.81 million tones, up 500,000 tonnes), due to its maize forecast growth.
