15.08.2013 14:52 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov demands to intensify efforts at reforming the technical regulations of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia and Ukraine. This was stated by Head of the Government during a working visit to Lugansk region, Government Portal reports.
«We have now some difficulties related to the creation, structuring of the Customs Union, there are differences in approach. It’s very important now to enhance and extend our cooperation with countries of the Customs Union, especially in terms of approximation in the field of technical regulations and agreements that govern the customs procedure. And now we are working on it,» Mykola Azarov said.
However, he has once again stressed that we can not oppose Ukraine’s cooperation with the EU and the countries of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, so Ukraine will develop cooperation with these two unions.
Mykola Azarov called on national media not to speculate on the issue of alleged conflict betweenUkraine and the Customs Union.
«We have problems, but these problems should not be artificially inflated and exaggerated. First of all, the problems’ solution is in the coordination of our positions, it is not an easy work, but it will definitely give results. We strongly believe in this,» Mykola Azarov said.
