25 regions May poultry meat prices up 1.1-9.7%, to UAH17,6-20,5 per kg

10.06.2010 14:32 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — This year May poultry meat prices have risen to UAH17,6–20,5 per kg, up 1.1–9.7% against this year Apr on 25 regions markets, reported Ministry of Economics representative. As to report, this year May poultry meat prices have simultaneously slackened on 2 regions markets, − to UAH18,17–19,8 per kg, down 0.3–1% as of this year Apr. As to representative, this year May poultry meat maximal (UAH20,5 per kg) and minimal (UAH17,6 per kg) prices have been registered correspondingly on c. Sevastopol and AR of the Crimea markets. Within this year May poultry meat prices have grown in 25 regions shops to UAH17,02–19,14 per kg, up 0.6–9.9% against this year Apr, with poultry meat highest (UAH19,14 per kg) and lowest (UAH17,02 per kg) prices having been registered correspondingly in Volyn region and Sumy region shops. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Apr 2010 poultry meat prices improved to UAH17,01–19,95 per kg, up 0.1–10% against Mar 2010 on 15 regions markets; simultaneously, prices dipped to UAH17,18–20 per kg (down 0.1–1.6% as of Mar 2010) on 7 regions markets. As to Agro Perspective, within Apr 2010 retail sale network poultry meat prices had strengthened to UAH16,48–17,82 per kg, up 0.8–7.9% against Mar 2010 in 24 regions shops.
