Cooperation with China to intensify agriculture in Ukraine

Establishment of cooperation with China will make it possible to intensify the development of the Ukrainian agriculture sector this was emphasized by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk during his trip to China, NRCU reports referring to Agrarian Policy Ministry press service.
«Ukraine now has a number of projects to be introduced in cooperation with China. We would like to cooperate in seed farming, irrigation, production of cereals and some others,» Mykola Prysiazhniuk said. According to the Minister, it would be interesting to exchange experience in plant breeding, exchange the best samples of seeds, as well as test those seeds in Ukraine. Prysiazhniuk also said that the Ukrainian side initiates the exchange of experience in the development of new technologies and equipment for the processing industry, cooperation in the development of selective breeding. No less promising is the possibility of implementing a wide range of mutually beneficial projects in the field of fisheries. The meetings will focus on a number of issues involving the study of Chinese experience in the field of land legislation.
