As to NRCU, the Ukrainian government has prepared a bill to reduce taxes and fees in Ukraine, where it is envisaged to cut their number from 23 to 9, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Social Policy Serhiy Tihipko announced on Tuesday, at the international conference on improving business environment as the main factor in creating competitive economy.
«We must continue work on the Tax Code… It should develop. The first thing we can do is to cancel tax invoices. We can also reduce the amount of taxes and fees. Today their number is 23, but we already have a bill cutting them to 9. In the near future I will present it at a government meeting,» Tihipko said. He noted that it is possible to simplify administration of the single social contribution. «In fact, we are cutting the number of bills entrepreneurs need to draw to make this contribution by four times,» the Vice Prime Minister explained. Tihipko noted that the number of permits for business activities will also be reduced. «The Parliament has bills reducing the number of permissive documents from 140 to 80. 27 permissive documents set by special laws are cancelled. In addition, another 15 licenses shall be lifted. Overall, we started with 75, and now 41 license will remain,» the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
