Tihipko: Ukraine needs $10-12 billion of FDI per year
18.09.2012 16:27 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
In 2012, Ukraine will receive up to $7 billion of foreign direct investment (FDI), vice Prime Minister, social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko said at the international conference «Improving the business environment - the main factor of creating a competitive economy», ForUm correspondent reports.
«$1012 billion of FDI annually - this is the minimum which our country needs, which would create opportunities for GDP growth of 5.7% per year. But in 2012, I think we won’t be able to get this amount of investment, because of investment climate deficiencies and continuing global economic crisis,» the official said.
