06.09.2012 10:16 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
In his interview with «The Wall Street Journal» President Putin said Moscow will promote the common interests of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan at the APEC summit in Vladivostok, Voice of Russia reports referring to ITAR-TASS.
Both the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space of the three countries have been built on WTO principles, where Russia gained membership some time ago, Putin said.
This will enable its new partners to work with Belarus and Kazakhstan on the same terms.
Putin stressed that the «launching» of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space had already led to the creation of a common market on the Eurasian space.
He believes that the association of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan can serve as a link between the European Union and the Asia - Pacific Region.
