Ukraine: State is to support real sector of economy

Effective support for the real economy, help to domestic producers in promoting to the foreign markets today remains one of the most important tasks of the state, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said to journalists in Donetsk region, ForUm learned from the President’s press service.
The President said that in the near future he will arrange the meeting to consider the promotion of products of the real sector of the national economy to foreign markets. The meeting will be attended by the industrialists, representatives of Ukrainian business and government, scientists.
«We look into future and will soon hold a big meeting with industrialists to coordinate this work and to involve in it our science, engineering industry,» Yanukovych said.
In addition, the President stressed the importance of preserving the existing markets for our products, along with access to new markets. This, according to him, is one of the urgent tasks of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine. «Currently, we are looking for partners who would consume Ukrainian products. Our foreign policy should have economization vector as well,» he said.
The President said that Ukraine should work to increase the volume of production of goods with high added value. «Given the fact that Ukraine has considerable industrial potential, intellectual personnel, we must focus our industry on producing such products,» Yanukovych said.
«The more high-quality, high-tech products with high added value we produce, the better financial result we will have. Having it, we will develop the state and fulfill social commitments to the people,» he said.
