Kramatorsk to modernize Ukrainian ports

Novokramatorsk Machine Building Plant in Donetsk region set to modernize Ukrainian ports - next year, it will supply four powerful portal cranes and other technology to the ports, says UKRINFORM referring to NRCU.
«A meeting in Kramatorsk became, actually, continuation of a conversation, started during a working visit of Vice Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov to the Novokramatorsk Plant,» Director of the Infrastructure Ministry State Department for Maritime and River Transport Volodymyr Sevriukov has said at a meeting of machine builders and port workers in Kramatorsk,. "The country’s government sets a large-scale aim of technical re-equipment at Ukrainian ports, whose technology and equipment are worn-out 7090%. Novokramatorsk Machine Building Plant, which has experience of close cooperation with port workers, is named as one of main performers of this difficult task. Over recent years, the plant made and put into exploitation four portal cranes, overloaders, rotary reclaimers and different conveyers at ports and mine and smelting plants of Ukraine. In addition, the plant has developments in the sphere of facilities for handling loose cargos, portal cranes of high loadbearing capacity, experience of assembling port equipment. The plant is ready to undertake their servicing and maintenance, modernization of available equipment, as well as creation of facilities for container transshipment.
