VR Agrarian Committee recommends Rada to permit Ukrainian petroleum usage for Agrarian-Industrial Complex needs

As to VR Committee for Agrarian Policies and Land Relations website report, Committee recommends VR taking as basis Law stipulating domestic extracted petroleum to be used exclusively for agricultural needs.
In part., Committee recommends Parliament to back up draft Law ¹7341/II « About Assuring Agriculture with Petroleum Products» (stipulating Ukrainian petroleum to be processed exclusively on domestic petroleum processing plants, with diesel fuel produced out of this petroleum to be supplied exclusively for agrarian sector at maximal prices as determined by Cabinet).
As earlier reported, Oleksandr Baranovskiy, Minister of Agrarian Policy, had advanced initiative petroleum/gas extracted in Ukraine to be used for petroleum products/mineral fertilizers production for domestic agricultural companies needs.
As of May 31, VR refused to back up draft Law on domestic extracted petroleum to be obligatory used for agrarians diesel fuel production.
Oleksandr Baranovskiy on Jun 1 journalists meeting expressed hope VR would back up
this draft Law thus assuring part Ukrainian petroleum to be used for Agrarian-Industrial Complex diesel fuel production.
As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy experts, domestic agrarians annual diesel fuel requirement is 1.9 million tons (with 0.6 million tons needed for spring sowing).
