"The government is preparing a new legislation that will stimulate investment in new businesses and jobs at most. We create special regimes and conditions for attracting investment in small towns, "- Prime Minister said on August 9 in the framework of his working visit to Sumy region.
During a visit to the plant «Bell Shostka Ukraine» Mykola Azarov spoke to the companys employees and assured them that then there was a task to increase the rate of wages in high-tech industries, "We shall reach an average wage equal to 8000 hryvnias. This is a difficult task. But if the production is high-tech and produces most high-quality products, has a market, then it has a possibility to pay people decent wages. "
He added that the Government would create conditions so that the number of high-tech enterprises in Ukraine was growing: «We intend to provide the regime of maximum assistance to the development of traditional and creation of new plants in small and medium-sized cities.»
According to Head of the Cabinet, in our country three-quarters of all human settlements are small and medium-sized cities, such as Shostka. "So now we must think seriously about the opportunities that are available to residents of small towns in terms of stability of income and employment, quality of education and health services, housing, Mykola Azarov said. Such towns should receive additional incentives for development and additional support for the modernization of existing production facilities. "
Prime Minister also said that it was planned planned to apply a zero tax rate for investment in job creation.
In turn, Director General of OJSC «Bell Shostka Ukraine» Laurent Strauss noted that because of the actions of the Government the investment climate in Ukraine had significantly improved it is much easier for foreign investors to work here.
